Assets
herdr-linux-x86_64— native x86_64 Linux build, dynamically linked against glibcherdr-macos-aarch64— native Apple Silicon macOS buildSHA256SUMS— checksums for both binaries
Both binaries were built from the exact integrated source with Rust 1.96.1, Zig 0.16.0, LIBGHOSTTY_VT_OPTIMIZE=ReleaseFast, and LIBGHOSTTY_VT_SIMD=true.
Validation and limits
The source passed formatting, clippy, 3,686 Rust tests with 7 skipped, maintenance tests, the 1/16-pane hover profile, and the render scaling profile. Patch-profile reconstruction and release-tool tests passed.
The Linux binary is a native glibc build intended for my current Linux system; the portable musl build was not produced. Windows, Linux arm64, and Intel macOS assets are intentionally omitted. GitHub-hosted release builds, Windows cross-lint, the release performance smoke benchmark, and final manual pane-hover smoke testing were not completed for these binaries.
Installation
Use the checksum-verifying Codefriendly installer through mytools update herdr. Do not use the upstream Herdr updater, which may replace this personal build with an official upstream binary.
