0.3.1: environment-first setup and live database selection

• Configure one inherited POSTGRES_CONNECTION_STRING; no targets JSON is required for a single PostgreSQL server. Bash, Zsh and interactive PowerShell examples use masked input and avoid storing credential literals in shell profiles or MCP configuration.
• Discover accessible PostgreSQL databases with list_databases and select a physical database per call, including databases created after startup. Existing protected connection profiles remain supported.
• Upgrade boundary: omitted access mode defaults to unrestricted; SQL calls still default to read-only. Writes require explicit read_only=false and PostgreSQL permission. Existing explicit restricted settings remain effective.

Available artifacts and verification

Five self-contained platform archives, npm/NuGet package files, the application CycloneDX SBOM and SHA256SUMS are attached below. The Linux x64 archive and installed GitHub npm/NuGet package assets passed real CLI/MCP discovery, physical selection, live database creation, read-only rejection, write commit/cleanup and shutdown against disposable PostgreSQL. All eight checksums and all nine GitHub attestations passed independent verification against repository/workflow identity and source commit 4f0cf2c40f41b80a7e1ff34102ad8b4641dc71a6. Other platform archives were not executed locally.

Registry publication is blocked, not completed. Release run 37085312914 passed packaging, installed-distribution verification, attestation and GitHub publication, but npm returned publish HTTP 404 (not found/no permission) and NuGet rejected the OIDC trust-policy match with HTTP 401. Downloadable package assets are not proof of availability on npm or NuGet.org. Use a self-contained release archive or a verified local package installation until registry publication succeeds.
