- Connecting a printer to the web app now walks itself. On a machine with
no printer saved yet, kiln bridge enablescans your network, offers the
printer it finds, asks only the details that printer needs, and saves it as
your active one. It also says up front if you still need a slicer, instead
of letting the first print fail. One paste from kiln3d.com now ends at a
working print path.

Previews really do get the studio look now. 1.4.1 said preview images
would use the web app's studio look on any computer. On most installs they
didn't: one of the pieces Kiln needs to draw them wasn't part of the
install, so previews quietly fell back to the plain look with nothing said.
It's included now, and preview images come out sharper too. -
Preview pictures show up in seconds. A full set of angles could take
long enough to run past the time your app is willing to wait, and come
back with nothing. The whole set now comes back in seconds, and Kiln keeps
an eye on the clock so a preview finishes inside that window instead of
being lost. -
An expired web sign-in no longer wastes your time. When your sign-in
to kiln3d.com had gone stale, steps that upload your model for the web 3D
view kept re-uploading it and getting refused, over and over, inside one
call. Kiln now takes the first refusal as its answer and skips the rest;
sign in again and uploads work like normal.
