VoxShield: Technical Documentation

VoxShield is an audio-based machine learning system designed to identify potential voice-cloning impersonation attacks.

The system analyzes audio signals and extracts acoustic features that are used by classical machine learning classifiers to distinguish between real and synthetic or manipulated speech.

Core Technologies

  • Python
  • Librosa
  • NumPy
  • Scikit-learn
  • Flask
  • React
  • Vite

Machine Learning Approach

VoxShield uses handcrafted audio feature extraction combined with supervised machine learning.

The model evaluates acoustic characteristics of an audio recording rather than relying on speech transcription or semantic analysis.
