Dev Daily Dashboard v0.1.0
First public release of Dev Daily Dashboard — a developer-focused productivity dashboard that centralises coding activity, GitHub contributions, and daily workflow tracking into a single interface.
Highlights
- GitHub Activity Widget — full-year contribution heatmap powered by the GitHub GraphQL API (
contributionCalendar), with a REST events fallback for unauthenticated users - WakaTime Integration — today's coding time and language breakdown via a server-side Vercel proxy (API key never exposed to the browser)
- XP Level System — gamified developer progression driven by real activity: commits, completed tasks, and Pomodoro sessions
- Productivity Score — weighted daily score across GitHub activity, coding streak, tasks, Pomodoros, and LeetCode
- Dark / Light Mode — persistent theme toggle with full contrast support in both modes
- In-app Credential Management — save GitHub tokens and WakaTime API keys directly in the browser via secure localStorage dialogs

Notes
This is an early release. A few things to keep in mind:
- LeetCode data currently uses mock data — a real API integration requires a server-side proxy due to CORS restrictions
- The WakaTime widget requires either a
WAKATIME_API_KEYenvironment variable on Vercel or a user-supplied key entered via the dashboard settings - The GitHub GraphQL heatmap requires an authenticated token; without one it falls back to a REST events approximation (~90 days, public pushes only)
- Expect breaking changes in minor versions until the API surface stabilises
Thank you for trying DevDaily! Contributions, issues, and suggestions are welcome — see the repository to get started.
