Admin sidebar branding logo using favicon instead of branding logo

Hi all,

I am new to Wagtail and Wagtail CRX and am following the Tutorial in the documentation.

At Settings > CRX Settings - I have uploaded the respective images for the Branding Logo and favicon.

The Main Nav bar displays the horizontal CRX-Pharma logo correctly and the favicon also displays the correct image.

However, the Admin Sidebar, is displaying the favicon image instead of the Branding Logo image whereas the tutorial is showing the Branding Logo being displayed at the Admin Sidebar.

Is this discrepancy because of ...
(1) Incorrect installation/setup on my part somehow? OR
(2) It is displaying correctly as intended and the tutorial documentation is out of date? OR
(3) Is this a bug?

Any idea how I can fix this? Any help would be most appreciated :)

Hello - some releases ago we changed the wagtail admin to show the favicon instead of the logo, so the tutorial is out of date. You can read about the change in #650

Thanks for the quick response Vince, much appreciated! I'm hoping that Wagtail CRX can replace WordPress for me in the long term and so far it looks really promising :) Still learning of course!
