Due to a lack of time and resources to address the numerous issues related to Nodebox, we have decided to stop recommending it for now. We will reconsider bringing it back when we can properly maintain it.

@danilowoz Since you are "deprecating" Nodebox, two things:

• what does that mean for testing since it is also no part of the recommended templates.
• is there any documents that collates what you have, in case the community wants to take it up? I really want to use Nodebox.

Ah, this generated a bit more response than we were expecting, sorry about that!

One important thing to mention is that Nodebox can still be used, all the existing functionality, including tests, Vite, express examples, etc... still work. However, at CodeSandbox we will have a couple of busy months ahead, and we cannot find time to maintain Nodebox in those months, unfortunately. That means we cannot respond quickly or fix issues. This is the main reason we wanted to remove it from the docs, to reduce the inbound amount of issues/questions that would come in.

That said, in a couple months time we will have a much better sense of our ability to maintain Nodebox, and it might be that we put the examples back in and actively maintain it again. In the meantime, Nodebox will stay part of Sandpack and all the examples will continue to work.
