hint scans every hub in the machine's registry, but an entry that still exists as a directory yet is
no longer a git repo (a moved or removed hub) made it print "could not read presence refs (not a
git repository)" on every addressed send. It now skips non-git entries cleanly (gated on the hub's
root commit), the same way confer hubs already does.
