CodeSplash AI 1.30.0

CodeSplash AI 1.30.0 streamlines how AI-assisted repo work happens in the app. In this release, Command Center takes over the legacy repo-level agent slot, and the workspace has been updated to make that flow the new default.

This update also includes migration handling for older saved layouts, so existing setups that referenced the previous agent mode are normalized to Command Center during upgrade.

Features

  • Command Center is now the primary in-repo agent workflow
    • Command Center now replaces the legacy repo-level AI agent surface as the main place to launch and manage agent sessions inside repository workflows.

Fixes

  • Layout migration for older agent-based workspaces

    • Older saved layouts and mode orders that referenced agent are now remapped to command-center during upgrade.
    • This helps reduce missing-mode or broken-navigation issues when opening existing workspaces after updating.
  • More resilient saved mode ordering

    • Saved mode lists are now normalized and deduplicated before defaults are restored.
    • This improves stability when loading older or partially outdated layout settings.

Improvements

  • Command Center-first repo navigation

    • Default repo mode ordering now starts with Command Center, making it the most prominent entry point for agent-driven work.
  • Legacy agent UI consolidated

    • The previous standalone AI agent interface has been removed in favor of a single Command Center-first workflow.
  • Workspace wiring updated for the new model

    • Workspace navigation, layout behavior, right panel handling, command palette entries, shortcuts, and menu wiring were updated to align with the new Command Center-first experience.
  • Command Center is now built-in

    • Command Center is no longer represented as a downloadable extension and is now treated as core product functionality.

If you previously relied on the legacy agent mode, update to 1.30.0 and review your saved workspace layout to see how it now maps into Command Center.
