Data Miner

Data Miner is a diagnostic and profiling mod for modpack developers and server admins. It dumps game registries to JSON, profiles FPS and server tick time, traces live events, measures action latency, analyzes the loaded mods, collects warnings and errors from other mods into a separate log, and flags known problems. All file writing happens off the game thread, so it does not freeze the game.

What is the same everywhere

The commands, the reports and their folder layout, the registry dump, the log capture and issue detection, and the config options.

What changes between builds

• Config file: NeoForge uses config/data_miner-common.toml; Fabric uses config/data_miner.json (same options).
• Client reload reporting: only NeoForge 26.2.0.57 (1.2.x) tells the server when a client reloads its resources (see Reports).

Installation

Put the Data Miner JAR in the mods folder of the client, the server, or both: each side writes its own reports. On NeoForge 26.2.0.57 install it on both sides, because that build registers a network channel between client and server.
