They cover different things, and the distinction matters.

The seven OGG sound effects bundled with this mod are third-party audio carried over from Grand Teleport. They are:
- not original to this project,
- not covered by the MIT grant,
- included only for non-commercial in-game use as part of this mod.
Do not extract or redistribute the sound files separately.
This is also why the mod's declared licence is Custom rather than MIT — because a single
licence cannot honestly describe both.
The practical consequence: customSoundsEnabled is off by default. You opt in to the bundled
audio, rather than getting it silently.
- Codex — the original Grand Teleport for Forge 1.20.1, on which this is based. MIT licensed, and covered by the MIT grant above.
- hookuru_ — contributions to the original mod.
- Stalking Dragons — the NeoForge and current-Forge port, and the rework.
Teleport Animation is a fork of Grand Teleport by Codex, with contributions by hookuru_, ported to NeoForge by Stalking Dragons and substantially reworked since.
It is not affiliated with the original authors.
Integrates with, but does not modify or redistribute:
- Waystones — the optional mod whose teleports this mod animates.
- Sodium, Iris, Bobby, Distant Horizons, Voxy — supported through optional compatibility code.
Each remains the work of its own author under its own licence.
