Summon 0.5.5.3
Fixed
- TBT Phase 2: Remaining Blocking Patterns - Removed additional blocking operations discovered in real-world testing
- Removed deprecated
hydrateClickHandlers()andhydrateFormInputs()calls that were still executing despite GlobalEventListener handling events - Removed
getBoundingClientRect()layout-forcing call at initialization (always load hydration immediately now) - Removed WebGL context creation for feature detection (not needed for hydration decisions)
- Replaced
getComputedStyle()in ClientDispatcher with aria-expanded attribute check to avoid forced style recalculation - Removed all
console.log/console.groupcalls from inline bootloader script for production - Removed
enableStaticFormFallbacks()layout thrashing (querySelectorAll loops with style mutations)
- Removed deprecated
Technical Details
These changes target real-world TBT issues that weren't captured in local Lighthouse tests:
- Local tests use simple pages with minimal DOM
- Deployed site (dev.yousef.codes) has complex DOM where blocking patterns compound
- Each blocking operation adds latency: layout thrashing, style recalculations, console I/O
- Total expected TBT reduction: 15-28 seconds on mobile
