A last-minute RetroAchievements hardcore audit, done the day after the compliance application went in, caught something the earlier audits had missed. This release closes it.
What's Fixed
- Disc swaps are verified by RetroAchievements — The in-game disc-swap chord (L3 + Start by default) changed discs without telling rcheevos. It now hands every inserted disc to rcheevos, which checks that it belongs to the loaded game. In hardcore, a game not launched from an
.m3uplaylist can't swap (the status bar says why), and a disc rcheevos doesn't recognise drops the session to casual with a message. - Cores' own cheat options are locked in hardcore — Dolphin, PPSSPP, MAME and FBNeo can switch on their built-in cheat engines through a core option, a road the in-app cheat gate never saw. A hardcore session now keeps those options off from the first frame; your saved choice comes back in casual, and a one-time message says so.
