1. PENAMBAHAN

- Menambahkan pengaturan "Jeda cas karena suhu oleh modul", nonaktif
  secara bawaan. Saat nonaktif, pengelolaan suhu dan daya pengisian
  diserahkan kepada sistem HP agar pemicu suhu tambahan dari modul tidak
  menginterupsi HyperCharge.
- Menambahkan keterangan kebijakan cas yang sedang digunakan dalam
  bahasa Indonesia dan English.
- Kolom ambang suhu baterai dan opsi jeda karena panas prosesor dibuat
  tidak aktif ketika pengaturan jeda suhu modul dimatikan.
- Menambahkan penjelasan bahwa pencarian saklar cas secara manual
  mematikan dan menyalakan cas sebentar. Jika saklar sudah ditemukan,
  pencarian tidak perlu diulang saat HyperCharge sedang berjalan.

2. PERBAIKAN

- Memperbaiki batas baterai 42 °C yang sebelumnya tetap bisa menjeda cas
  meskipun opsi jeda karena panas prosesor sudah dimatikan.
- Pemicu suhu baterai dan jeda panas prosesor kini mengikuti pengaturan
  utama jeda suhu modul. Keduanya tidak menjeda cas saat pengaturan ini
  nonaktif.
- Konfigurasi lama tanpa CHARGE_THERMAL otomatis memakai kebijakan baru
  dengan nilai 0 (nonaktif). Tidak perlu mereset pengaturan.
- Melepas jeda karena panas yang sebelumnya dibuat modul pada siklus
  kontrol berikutnya ketika kebijakan tersebut dimatikan. Penahanan cas
  karena batas persentase tetap dipertahankan jika masih berlaku.
- Panas saja tidak lagi memicu pencarian/pengujian saklar cas otomatis
  pada kebijakan bawaan. Pencarian masih dapat dilakukan saat diperlukan
  untuk menjalankan batas persentase.
- Memperbarui versi aset dan cache WebUI untuk v2.8.2.

3. FITUR DAN PENGATURAN YANG DIPERTAHANKAN

- Auto cut charging berdasarkan persentase tetap bekerja: bawaan berhenti
  di 95% dan melanjutkan di 90%. Batas yang disimpan pengguna tetap dipakai.
- Ambang suhu lama tetap tersimpan. Jika jeda suhu modul diaktifkan secara
  sengaja, batas baterai dan jeda panas prosesor opsional pada mode Kernel
  Default dapat digunakan kembali.
- Pengendalian CPU, pemantauan suhu, sinkronisasi tab Daya/Suhu, pilihan
  bahasa, serta perbaikan error AWK pada tab Suhu tetap disertakan.
- Modul tetap menghormati jeda pengisian dari sistem/pengendali lain
  apabila saklar tidak sedang dikendalikan oleh modul.
- Pembaruan tidak menonaktifkan driver termal atau mengubah negosiasi
  charger, arus, maupun tegangan pengisian. Daya 120 W tetap bergantung
  pada HP, charger, kabel, dan kondisi pengisian.

4. PENGUJIAN DAN BATAS VALIDASI

- Lulus pengujian pengendali dengan sensor dan saklar sysfs tiruan:
  konfigurasi lama, panas tanpa interupsi cas pada kebijakan bawaan,
  siklus batas 95%/90%, batas persentase khusus, jeda suhu opsional,
  pelepasan jeda panas, dan penghormatan terhadap jeda dari pengendali lain.
- Lulus pemeriksaan pembacaan suhu dan regresi backend dengan One True Awk.
- Alur pengaturan dan bahasa WebUI diuji menggunakan model DOM untuk
  API exec dan spawn. Sintaks skrip dan integritas arsip ZIP juga diperiksa.
- Belum diuji langsung pada perangkat fisik Xiaomi 14T Pro dengan
  HyperCharge 120 W; pengujian UI tersebut bukan rendering browser Android.

5. CARA MEMPERBARUI

1) Pasang Cogan-Smart-Kernel-v2.8.2.zip sebagai pembaruan modul melalui
   root manager, lalu reboot perangkat.
2) Tutup dan buka ulang WebUI Cogan Smart.
3) Untuk pengelolaan suhu pengisian oleh sistem HP, biarkan pengaturan
   "Jeda cas karena suhu oleh modul" nonaktif.
4) Atur batas persentase sesuai kebutuhan. Pengaturan sebelumnya tetap
   dipertahankan; reset tidak diperlukan.


ENGLISH

1. ADDED

- Adds "Module temperature-based charging pauses", disabled by default.
  When disabled, the phone manages charging temperature and power without
  additional module temperature triggers interrupting HyperCharge.
- Adds charging policy descriptions in Indonesian and English.
- Disables the battery temperature threshold field and CPU heat pause
  option while module temperature-based charging pauses are turned off.
- Explains that manual charging-switch detection briefly turns charging
  off and on. Once a switch is found, detection does not need to be repeated
  while HyperCharge is running.

2. FIXED

- Fixes the 42 °C battery threshold still being able to pause charging
  even when the CPU heat pause option was disabled.
- Makes both battery temperature and CPU heat charging pauses follow the
  new main setting. Neither pauses charging while that setting is off.
- Existing configurations without CHARGE_THERMAL automatically use the
  new policy with a value of 0 (disabled). No settings reset is required.
- Releases an earlier module-owned heat pause on the next control cycle
  when that policy is disabled. A percentage-based hold remains in place
  if its conditions still apply.
- Heat alone no longer triggers automatic charging-switch detection or
  testing under the default policy. Detection can still run when needed
  to enforce the configured percentage limit.
- Updates WebUI asset and cache versions for v2.8.2.

3. RETAINED FEATURES AND SETTINGS

- Percentage-based automatic charge cutoff remains available: defaults
  stop at 95% and resume at 90%. Previously saved limits remain in use.
- Earlier temperature thresholds remain saved. Users who explicitly enable
  module temperature-based pauses can use the battery threshold and the
  optional CPU heat pause in Kernel Default mode again.
- Retains CPU control, temperature monitoring, Power/Temperature tab
  synchronization, language selection, and the Temperature tab AWK fix.
- Continues to respect charging suspensions from the system or another
  controller when the module does not own the charging switch.
- Does not disable thermal drivers or change charger negotiation, charging
  current, or charging voltage. Achieving 120 W still depends on the phone,
  charger, cable, and charging conditions.

4. TESTING AND VALIDATION LIMITS

- Controller tests passed with simulated sysfs sensors and switches:
  existing configurations, heat without charging interruption under the
  default policy, 95%/90% cutoff cycles, custom percentage limits, optional
  temperature pauses, heat-pause release, and external charging suspensions.
- Temperature reading and backend regression checks passed with One True Awk.
- WebUI settings and language flows passed DOM-model tests for exec and
  spawn APIs. Script syntax and ZIP archive integrity were also checked.
- Not yet tested on a physical Xiaomi 14T Pro with 120 W HyperCharge.
  The UI checks above do not constitute Android browser rendering tests.

5. HOW TO UPDATE

1) Install Cogan-Smart-Kernel-v2.8.2.zip as a module update through your
   root manager, then reboot the device.
2) Close and reopen the Cogan Smart WebUI.
3) Leave "Module temperature-based charging pauses" disabled to let the
   phone manage charging temperature.
4) Adjust percentage limits as needed. Existing settings are retained;
   no reset is required.

2. PENAMBAHAN — v2.8

3. PEMBARUAN DAN PERBAIKAN — v2.8

- Menyamakan cara tab Daya dan Suhu menentukan status pencatat.
  Sampel terlambat tidak langsung disebut sebagai pencatat berhenti.
- Menyesuaikan toleransi umur sampel dengan interval pencatatan,
  termasuk ketika interval diatur sampai 300 detik.
- Memperbarui status pencatat melalui pembacaan rutin, tanpa menunggu
  pembaruan informasi identitas kernel yang lebih jarang.
- Menghidupkan kembali pembaruan data ketika WebUI kembali dari cache
  navigasi. Sebelumnya, pembaruan dapat berhenti setelah halaman ditinggal.
- Memperbaiki pilihan English yang sebelumnya hanya diterapkan di halaman
  Tentang. Pilihan bahasa kini digunakan kembali saat berpindah tab dan
  membuka ulang WebUI.
- Mencegah sensor yang tidak tersedia digantikan oleh suhu dari riwayat
  lama. Tampilan menunjukkan bahwa sensor tidak tersedia.
- Menandai tampilan sebagai data lama ketika pembacaan gagal.

  Pengaturan yang sebelumnya disimpan pengguna tetap digunakan.

5. VALIDASI

- Error v2.8 berhasil direproduksi dengan One True Awk 20251225.
- Perbaikannya lulus pengujian pada One True Awk tersebut dan mawk.
- Pengujian mencakup pembacaan suhu, status pencatat, start/stop,
  interval panjang, sampel terlambat, sensor tidak tersedia, ringkasan,
  serta ekspor TXT/CSV dalam bahasa Indonesia dan English.
- Alur WebUI diuji menggunakan model DOM untuk API exec dan spawn,
  termasuk perpindahan bahasa dan pemulihan pembaruan setelah navigasi.
- Pengujian ini belum dilakukan langsung pada Xiaomi 14T Pro atau melalui
  rendering WebUI di browser Android.

6. CARA MEMPERBARUI

1. LATEST FIX — v2.8.1

- Fixes the Temperature tab failing to read data with the error:
  "Command now failed (code 2): awk: syntax error ... json_now".
- Fixes a conditional expression in JSON generation that One True Awk
  rejected. The condition is now evaluated before the printf call.
- Parenthesises JSON separator expressions for consistent syntax in
  control and cooling reports.
- Updates WebUI asset and cache version markers so pages load the updated
  code instead of reusing responses cached by an earlier version.

2. ADDED — v2.8

- One shared sensor decoder for Power, Temperature, and background
  controllers. CPU/GPU selection and unit conversion use shared functions.
- A short WebUI sensor snapshot with a two-second window, allowing tab
  switches to reuse the same measurement. Background controllers continue
  to read hardware directly.
- Shared recorder health checks covering process identity, sample time,
  and the configured recording interval.
- Indicators distinguishing a stopped recorder, a recorder collecting its
  first sample, active recording, and a live process with delayed samples.
- Separate labels for sensor reading age and recorded activity age, so
  older activity is not presented as current activity.
- Indonesia/English support across tabs, buttons, feedback, confirmation
  messages, summaries, and TXT/CSV log exports.
- Response caches separated by language and WebUI version.

3. UPDATED AND FIXED — v2.8

- Aligns how Power and Temperature determine recorder status. A delayed
  sample is no longer automatically described as a stopped recorder.
- Makes sample freshness tolerance follow the recording interval,
  including intervals configured up to 300 seconds.
- Refreshes recorder health through regular reads without waiting for the
  less frequent kernel identity refresh.
- Resumes data polling when WebUI returns from the navigation cache.
  Previously, polling could remain stopped after leaving a page.
- Fixes the English selection previously affecting only the About page.
  The selected language is now reused across tabs and after reopening WebUI.
- Prevents unavailable live sensors from falling back to historical
  temperatures. The interface reports that sensors are unavailable.
- Marks displayed values as stale when a read fails.
- Limits Android activity reads through dumpsys when timeout is available,
  reducing the chance of a recorder becoming stuck on those reads.
- Preserves module names, third-party module descriptions, file paths,
  and code evidence as original data when translating the interface.

4. UPDATE COMPATIBILITY

- Module ID: cogan_smart.
- Package version: v2.8.1; versionCode: 15.
- The update retains the same module ID to preserve existing settings
  and recorded history.
- Default automatic charge cutoff remains 95% stop and 90% resume.
  Settings previously saved by the user continue to be used.

5. VALIDATION

- The v2.8 failure was reproduced with One True Awk 20251225.
- The fix passed tests with that One True Awk version and mawk.
- Tests cover live temperature reads, recorder status, start/stop, long
  intervals, delayed samples, unavailable sensors, summaries, and bilingual
  TXT/CSV exports.
- Functional WebUI tests use a DOM model with both exec and spawn APIs,

6. HOW TO UPDATE

1) Install Cogan-Smart-Kernel-v2.8.1.zip as a module update through your
   root manager.
2) Reboot the device.
3) Close and reopen the Cogan Smart WebUI.
4) Select Indonesia or English on the About page as needed.

🇮🇩 Menunggu pengembang BakaSU membuka blokir SUSFS. Sejak 10 Okt BakaSU memblokir build SUSFS, jadi kernel ini memakai versi sebelum blokir: BakaSU v4.2.0-rc3-5b76b884 (35222, driver kernel dan manager sama) + SUSFS v2.3.0 (2474336). Begitu blokir dibuka, build berikutnya memakai BakaSU terbaru.
🇬🇧 Waiting for the BakaSU developer to lift the SUSFS block. BakaSU has blocked SUSFS builds since 10 Oct, so this kernel uses the version from before the block: BakaSU v4.2.0-rc3-5b76b884 (35222, kernel driver and manager match) + SUSFS v2.3.0 (2474336). Once the block is lifted, the next build uses the newest BakaSU.
