The research data behind HazardPulse's models as of 2026-10-03. Anyone can use it to rebuild and check our published results.

What each file should be. Every file is pinned by size and SHA-256 in the manifests committed to this repository (results/data_manifests/). Each archive carries a copy of its manifest as MANIFEST.json. The hash of each results file's input table, for example dev_table_sha256, appears in its manifest.

Restore and verify.

  1. Extract each archive into the hazardpulse cache root (<repo>/.cache).
  2. Run python scripts/data_manifest.py --verify.

The archives are byte-reproducible from the caches (python scripts/data_release.py --out <dir>).

Sources and licence. Everything is derived from public data. NOAA/NHC ATCF decks and SHIPS texts, NOAA GMGSI imagery and USGS ComCat are US-government public domain. HazardPulse's derived tables and model outputs are AGPL-3.0-only, the same as the repository. The GEAR1-derived grid used by the earthquake model (Bird et al. 2015, CC-BY-4.0) is already in the repository (results/earthquake_program/gear1_cells.json), with its citation.
