v0.10.0
OHLCV availability now depends on your plan. This release documents the change, makes the SDK accept the full limit the API allows, and makes a refused request say why.
API changes this release documents
- OHLCV history depth and candle interval are per plan since 2026-09-25. Without a key: the last 24 hours at
1h,6h,12hand24h. Free key: 7 days at10mand longer (1mand5mare paid). Dev: 30 days at every interval. Pro and Enterprise: unlimited. Astartorendoutside the window, or a finer interval than the plan allows, is answered with403. See OHLCV limits by plan. startandendaccept a relative offset from now:-24h,-7d,-90m,-30s.start="-24h"selects the last 24 hours, which every plan may query.startis a string, so this works in 0.9.0 too.- A missing or malformed
startorendis answered with400.
Changed
- HTTP errors carry the API's message. A
403on OHLCV used to raise403 Client Error: Forbidden for url: ..., which does not say what to change. When the error body has amessage, theHTTPErrortext is now that message, for example403 Client Error: OHLCV history beyond the last 24 hours requires an API key (free key: 7 days, Dev plan: 30 days, Pro plan: unlimited) for url: .... It is still arequests.HTTPErrorwith.responseattached, so existingexceptclauses keep working, and 4xx is still not retried. get_ohlcvdocstring describes the relative offset and the per-plan window.
Fixed
get_ohlcvrejectedlimitabove 366. The API accepts up to 1000 candles per request; the SDK now does too.- The
enddocstring claimed a 1-year cap afterstart. The API has none: one paid-key request returned 692 daily candles spanning November 2024 to September 2026. - The README example,
examples/advanced_example.pyand the live OHLCV test asked for a week (or since yesterday's midnight), which returns 403 without a key. They usestart="-24h".
