Crema 1.5.0
Crema 1.5.0
Styles grew up in this one: every display can now have its own, and choosing one
finally looks like what you get.
New
- Per-display styles. Declare a style for all displays and override it per
display, right in Settings › General — one row per connected screen, live as
you plug and unplug. A display without a notch renders notch as card, and
the controls are honest about it. - A welcome tour on first launch. Five short steps that actually configure
the app — style, replacing the system indicators, Accessibility, launch at
login. Every step is skippable; nothing blocks. - Style tiles you can read. The pickers draw each style on your own
wallpaper, with the surface's miniature content and a one-line caption — and
the Card indicator (line or filled) is now picked from drawn previews right
under the style tiles, offered whenever a display renders Card. - A quieter, clearer menu. Transport controls appear only while something is
playing; status lines say something only when there is something to say. - A finer border on the floating styles. Card and Classic wear a darkened
rim with a top highlight — visible on bright wallpapers, where the old
hairline vanished. - Low Power Mode is respected. The now-playing waveform freezes while your
Mac is saving energy, and resumes when it stops.
Hardened
- The update feed is now signed end to end: the app verifies the appcast itself
and every update before extraction. - When an update is waiting, the menu bar says so — with a button that takes you
to it.
