@colinbdclark colinbdclark released this 03 Aug 22:31

Bubbles 0.7.0 now clamps unipolar parameters such as opacity, colours, and gain. This helps avoid unexpected results during performance (particularly when parameters are mapped from OSC).

This release also updates to Electron 20.

Bubbles 0.6.0

@colinbdclark colinbdclark released this 12 Apr 23:15

Bubbles v0.6.0 adds support for a main gain parameter that can be modulated by OSC. No user interface has been implemented yet for this control, but it is available at the /gain OSC path.

This version also moves the saturation control later in the processing pipeline, so that colourization effects can be more easily tamed.

Other changes:

  • Upgrades to Electron 17.4.0
  • Fixes packaging scripts

@colinbdclark colinbdclark released this 24 Feb 22:05

Bubbles v0.2.0 is the first publicly-available version of the Bubbles video lab. It's still in quite rough shape, but can be used to:

  • composite up to 16 layers of video (H.264-encoded .m4v or .mov files at 720p)
  • colourize each layer
  • adjust the playback speed of each video
  • key out selected regions of a layer
  • adjust the opacity of each layer
  • control the visibility of each layer using a MIDI controller (using the MPC-style MIDI layout)
