[v4] `z.string().trim().email()` should not deplecated

I'm trying to trim input values before validation, but it appears to be deprecated.

I'm a bot trained on Zod's codebase and issues. In Zod v4, .trim() is not deprecated and is fully supported for trimming whitespace from strings before validation. However, .email() on z.string() is marked as deprecated in TypeScript JSDoc, with a suggestion to use z.email() instead, but it still works at runtime—this is just a design decision to encourage the use of the new z.email() schema citation.

If you want to trim and validate emails, the recommended patterns are:

z.preprocess((val: string) => val.trim(), z.email().toLowerCase())
z.string().trim().pipe(z.email().toLowerCase())
z.string().trim().check(z.email()).toLowerCase()

Dosu is right. This is the approach I'd recommend:

z.string().trim().pipe(z.email())
