Installation

For a new installation, download the .dmg file matching your Mac below. The .zip, .blockmap, and latest-mac.yml assets are used by chatdump's automatic updater and do not need to be downloaded manually.

Highlights

  • Prevent embedded provider pages from requesting macOS Local Network access when chatdump does not need it.
  • Restrict provider WebRTC networking to avoid exposing local interfaces through direct UDP paths.
  • Enable Start at Login by default on first packaged launch while preserving an explicit opt-out.

Compatibility

When upgrading from v1.1.2 or earlier, Start at Login may be enabled once because this default had not previously been recorded. Disable it from the menu-bar settings if unwanted; chatdump preserves that explicit opt-out on later launches.
