Web research

  • Updated pi-web-access to 0.23.0. Researchers can use Firecrawl search and opt-in authenticated browser fetch profiles.
  • Preserved Feynman's exact web-search config path, private fetched-content cache, resolved Pi model scope, browser-cookie opt-in, raw-result default, and bounded primary-search deadline.

Research runtime

  • Updated the bundled Pi runtime to 0.84.2. Fullscreen transcript search now supports match navigation and configurable match colors.
  • Managed tool downloads now report progress after the TUI mounts, and model catalog refreshes no longer restart when a selector opens during startup.
  • Optional non-nullable tool arguments that arrive as null are now omitted before execution, while other malformed arguments remain rejected.

Validation

  • Added exact-source gates for the pi-web-access@0.23.0 contract and refreshed the packaged runtime lock and archive.
