Welcome to Network Canvas Server Alpha 3

This release is not to be used in a live research study under any circumstances. It contains unstable or in-development features that could break, causing loss of data (or worse).

This release makes some minor improvements to app behavior when re-opening windows and during the pairing process. It also introduces keys & certificates for the Server, which will be used in future versions to secure communications with Network Canvas clients.

  • Pairing: present a friendly error to client when GUI isn’t ready for pairing
  • Improved window & app behavior when re-opening and foregrounding app
  • Generate keys & self-signed certificate on startup, which will be used with clients in the future
