What changed

  • Make the CoreVideoTools IOSurface.surfaceID fallback obsolete exactly where Apple provides the native Swift property.
  • Avoid ambiguous member lookup when building clients with Xcode 27 while preserving the API on older OS versions.

Validated with the CoreVideoTools test suite, a tvOS Simulator build, and a separate PixelBufferAllocator consumer build.
