Configuration validation rejects enabled MCP servers that enter the generated root .mcp.json but exclude vscode whenever VS Code is enabled, including Claude-selected servers when Muse is disabled; previously this applied only while Muse and VS Code were both enabled, so VS Code loaded those servers. Affected configurations stop syncing until the server selects vscode or every enabled Muse, Claude, or Claude VS Code integration selecting it is disabled.
Fixed
Explicit client flags replace matching generated launch defaults instead of sending both, fixing Grok duplicate-model errors and applying the same precedence to Claude, Muse, Copilot, and Antigravity. Copilot’s repeatable MCP configuration and server-exclusion options remain additive, with identical generated entries omitted.
al copilot now loads the generated .copilot/mcp-config.json, which Copilot CLI does not discover on its own, so Copilot sessions receive their configured MCP servers, including Agent Dispatch.
Grok and al copilot no longer load root .mcp.json servers whose clients exclude them when Claude is enabled without Muse; previously these exclusions applied only while Muse was enabled.
make test and make coverage fail when a package's test run starts but never reports a package-level result, which previously passed when a test binary was replaced or exited through a raw syscall.
Make recipes run with -euo pipefail under macOS system Make (GNU Make 3.81), which ignores .SHELLFLAGS; previously make test, make coverage, make ci, and the make test pre-commit hook passed with failing tests there.
