Agent Computer v0.1.0 — GitHub Actions preview

Agent Computer brings Muse-style computer use to ChatGPT: a visible Linux desktop, Chromium, file tools and a terminal through one OAuth-protected MCP connection.

This is an early preview for one trusted owner. Your ChatGPT account must support custom MCP write tools. Start with public information and sample files.

Follow the GitHub Actions guide: fork the repository, configure the owner secret, run Launch MCP preview, and connect its HTTPS MCP endpoint to ChatGPT using OAuth.

This is a temporary development/testing session. The default is 60 minutes after readiness, subject to GitHub job limits and account quotas. Files and browser sessions are deleted when the run ends or is cancelled. Download results before stopping. GitHub Actions terms apply.

For persistent use on your own host, the existing Docker path is covered by the English and Chinese quickstarts.

Demo assets

Verification and limits

Release commit 4fe453a passed core CI, including Python 3.11–3.13 and three real Docker browser/desktop/OAuth/takeover/restart runs. The real PostgreSQL suite also passed. The bounded public HTTPS preview check passed and cleaned up its disposable desktop. See the verification record for evidence and boundaries.

ChatGPT supplies the model and advances the task; this server has no autonomous model loop or scheduler. It is not a multi-tenant security boundary. OAuth access tokens expire after one hour and require reauthorization. Client permissions, website compatibility and task success vary.
