• Fixed issue where URLs wrapped in square brackets [https://example.com] were not being converted to clickable markdown links
• Resolved double-processing bug that caused malformed markdown rendering
• URLs like [https://forms.gle/oSTsvh6cDkjECL2VA] now correctly render as clickable links

Technical Details

• Implemented two-pass URL processing approach:
  • First pass: converts [URL] to [URL](URL)
  • Second pass: converts bare URLs while avoiding already-processed markdown
• Fixed regex pattern to prevent URL truncation at closing brackets

This fix ensures LLM responses with bracket-wrapped URLs render correctly in the chatbot interface.

v2.7.2 - Dependency Updates

Dependency Updates

This release includes security updates for development dependencies.

Changes

• Updated 16 development dependencies via npm audit fix
• Fixed security vulnerabilities in development tooling (webpack, babel, express, etc.)
• Remaining vulnerabilities are in react-scripts dev dependencies only and do not affect production builds

Important Notes

• The production library build (dist/) is not affected by these vulnerabilities
• All vulnerabilities are in development-only dependencies used for local development and testing
• Production code remains secure and unchanged from v2.7.1

• ✅ landmark-main-is-top-level: Main landmark is now properly scoped within application role

• ✅ aria-prohibited-attr: Added proper role to live region div

Technical Details

According to WCAG/ARIA guidelines, role="application" creates a separate application context that can have its own main landmark, making nested landmarks from third-party components (like react-chatbotify) acceptable.
