@connectcoincrypto connectcoincrypto released this 17 Oct 20:12

ConnectCoin Core v1.0.3

Changes

  • Improves Automatic Claims performance through reusable per-thread TLS setup, bounded certificate-verification caches, accelerated SHA-224/256 on supported x86-64 CPUs, and optimized X25519 with portable fallbacks.
  • Improves connection pacing, endpoint selection, bounded performance history, and recovery scheduling.
  • Enforces cancellation and deadlines inside TLS I/O and fixes temporary-object lifetime errors.
  • Fixes provider linkage on Windows/macOS, concurrent cryptographic self-tests, and build/test portability.

P2C algorithm masks, signature offers, trust policy, and JSON-RPC behavior remain unchanged. No consensus-rule change is introduced. There is no need to delete wallet or blockchain data.

macOS 15+, Intel connectcoin-core-1.0.3-macos-x86_64.dmg

The macOS *-sources.tar.gz files contain corresponding sources, not installers. Linux compatibility outside the listed test environments is not covered by the package checks.

Verification and provenance

All application builds use commit ff459a92dab40607cda4d92c6effdb85600ceea7. SHA256SUMS.txt, build manifests, verification reports and release-provenance.json accompany the packages.

Windows packages are not Authenticode-signed. macOS packages are ad-hoc signed, without Apple Developer ID signing or notarization. Operating-system trust warnings may appear. Checksums are not a publisher signature.

Back up your wallet and close Core normally before upgrading. The MSI version increases to 1.0.3 with the existing upgrade identity and supports upgrading 1.0.2; application data is not an installer component.

ConnectCoin Core v1.0.2

@connectcoincrypto connectcoincrypto released this 06 Oct 21:41

ConnectCoin Core v1.0.2

Changes

  • Automatic Claims now use a shared, configurable-rate scheduling timeline: advance by one connection interval and bound accumulated lateness to one second. Delayed timer wakeups no longer repeatedly add a full fresh interval.
  • Genuine idle periods do not accumulate catch-up credit; a still-future deadline is preserved when work resumes. Concurrency limits and the disabled/unlimited modes remain unchanged.
  • Added regression coverage for multiple rates, coarse timers, delays, bounded catch-up, idle transitions and reconfiguration. Actual throughput still depends on network latency, verification and available system resources.

This update does not change proof validation, transaction signing, wallet storage, mining or consensus rules. There is no need to delete wallet or blockchain data.

@connectcoincrypto connectcoincrypto released this 03 Oct 10:39

ConnectCoin Core v1.0.1

Changes

  • P2C automatic claims prioritize endpoints by validated connection throughput and keep attempts on the best eligible bounty for each domain.
  • Preserve the configured P2C connection rate through short scheduler/timer delays.
  • Show RandomX dataset and Huge Pages status in the mining interface and RPC. Windows and Linux packages include opt-in setup helpers; normal-page fallback remains available.
  • Improve Windows installer and desktop icon verification, and Linux/macOS packaging and clean-runtime checks.

Verification and build provenance

  • SHA256SUMS.txt covers the attached packages and metadata. Build manifests, verification reports and release-provenance.json are included.
  • Release tag: addd1951590a6fd6759b5ccfa374c335da938251. Linux packages were built from this commit. Windows and macOS packages were built from dca952db592780e656d42abfe7752ac75c885a72; the intervening commit changes only Linux CI, documentation and its smoke validator, not Windows/macOS application or build sources.
  • CI, Linux package and runtime checks, and macOS builds and package checks completed successfully.
  • Windows package verification passed: 110 payload hashes, MSI policy, 32 PE files and 14 CLI smoke commands. Interactive GUI and clean-VM install/repair/upgrade/uninstall testing are not covered by this report. macOS package checks cover mounted/relocated help and version startup, not a full interactive wallet session.
  • The Windows MSI is not Authenticode-signed. macOS packages are ad-hoc signed, without Apple Developer ID signing or notarization. Operating-system trust warnings may appear. SHA-256 checksums are not a substitute for a publisher signature.

Back up your wallet and close the running application before upgrading. This release does not require deleting your wallet or blockchain data.
