docs: guide Slack app creation, tokens, and scopes - #1215
Merged
Conversation
Slack channel docs assumed an app-level token, a bot token, and the right scopes already existed. Add the setup that produces them: an app manifest with the scopes and event subscriptions Construct actually calls, where each token comes from, and a table mapping every scope to the behavior it buys.

docs/services.mddocumented how to configure a Slack channel but assumed the reader already hadapp_token,bot_token, and an app with the right permissions. Nothing said where those come from.Adds two subsections before the channel config:
connections:write; bot token from OAuth & Permissions after install), the invite requirement, and the reinstall-after-adding-a-scope trap.Scopes were derived from the API calls in
crates/daemon/src/service/slack.rs(apps.connections.open,chat.postMessage,chat.update,conversations.replies,reactions.add/remove) and the events accepted indelivery_from_envelope.token_rotation_enabled: falseis called out in the manifest because the channel holds a static bot token.Docs only — no code, no binaries.
