Recommended — verifies the release checksum, no Gatekeeper prompt:

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/coodyapp/token-my-bar/main/install.sh | bash

Homebrew and the manual DMG route (including the tap-trust step recent Homebrew requires, and the quarantine note for a browser-downloaded DMG) are covered in the maintained document:

Builds are ad-hoc signed — there is no Apple Developer ID yet — which is why the install script and the Homebrew cask clear the quarantine flag for you.
