The first release of Fuel Gauge: know if you'll make it to reset.

  • A forecast for every limit. Claude Code's 5-hour and weekly windows, Codex's limits, and Grok Bot's weekly limit, each with a plain verdict: "Makes it to reset" or "Runs out around 3:40p, 1h 20m early", the pace behind it, and the most you can use per hour and still make it.
  • A gauge in the menu bar whose needle shows the fuel left in the limit closest to running out. Orange when one will run out early, red when one is out.
  • A forecast under Claude Code's prompt. Turn on the status line from the panel or with fuelgauge install-statusline. An existing status line keeps showing.
  • Alerts once per window when a limit will run out at least 30 minutes early, and at 80% and 95%.
  • The fuelgauge command, which exits with code 2 when a limit will run out, so an agent can check before a long task.
  • Local only. No sign-in, cookies, Full Disk Access, keychain, or telemetry.

Install with brew install --cask coreyhaines31/tap/fuelgauge, or download FuelGauge.dmg below. Requires macOS 14 or later.
