Permissions

AddictionBuster requires manual user approval for sensitive Android capabilities:

• Accessibility Service, for foreground app detection and home action enforcement.
• Display over other apps, for intervention overlays.
• Notification access, only for optional background media blocking.
• Notifications / foreground service, for visible runtime enforcement.

Known Limitations

• OEM background restrictions can affect accessibility reliability.
• Background media blocking is best-effort and depends on Android media sessions.
• Usage accounting depends on accessibility event delivery and service uptime.
• The app is still pre-1.0 and needs more real-device testing.
