Changes

Publishes the tracker fixes already running on Dogis Mobile Grooming as a versioned update for all connected sites.

  • Use normal Fetch requests for regular tracking, with sendBeacon and keepalive reserved for navigation and page-hide delivery.
  • Consume REST response bodies without retrying a delivered request when reading its body fails.
  • Resume tracking on back/forward-cache restores without sending an extra heartbeat on the initial pageshow event.

The runtime code matches the verified Dogis production snapshot, with the version raised to 2.8.2 so installations on 2.8.1 receive an update. No database or settings changes are included.

Validation

  • All 99 installed plugin files were compared with GitHub; only the tracker JavaScript differed.
  • 16 JavaScript tests passed, including regression checks for request delivery, response reads, and page lifecycle events.
  • Production PHP syntax checks passed.
  • Release publishing is gated by the repository's WordPress/PHP integration workflow and package checksum checks.
