v3.0.3
Tool schemas no longer break requests
Some tools describe their parameters with JSON Schema features that Antigravity does not accept. Before this release, one such tool made every request fail with HTTP 400 before the model ran. Common causes were MCP tools and zod-generated schemas. Tool schemas are now converted at a single shared step, used by OpenCode, OpenCode 2 and Pi:
- Constants and enums with boolean or number values (for example
const: false) no longer causeTYPE_STRINGerrors. The allowed value is described to the model and the parameter keeps its real type. (#17) exclusiveMinimumandexclusiveMaximumno longer causeUnknown nameerrors. Integer bounds become inclusive bounds; other bounds are described to the model. (#27)- Other unsupported keywords, such as
multipleOf,oneOf,allOf,readOnlyandexamples, are converted or dropped instead of being sent. Combined object schemas (allOf) keep the properties of every part. (#30) - Supported fields such as
format, pattern, nullableandtitleare still sent for Gemini models. Claude models keep their existing stricter schema handling.
Thanks to @yansigit and @pppena, whose pull requests (#27, #30) shaped this fix, and to @willowite for the detailed report (#17).
