• Favourites — mark any ROM with ★ (Select on a gamepad, or from the game card) and filter the library by favourites. Survives reindexing.
• Deep links — dogmatix://library?console=snes&region=usa&lang=en&q=mario&fav=1.
• Debrid downloads — TorBox or Real-Debrid support (Settings → Debrid service + API key with "Test"). Downloads resume after interruptions and fall back to direct torrent when the service only offers a zipped set.
• RomM integration — connect to a RomM library, automatically upload finished downloads, configure per-console platform mappings with suggestions, and use romm://<platform> as a source.
• Spanish translation — plus a new Language setting (System / English / Spanish).
• Metadata timeout — configurable metadata fetch timeout from 10–180 seconds.

Improved

• Better 4:3 support — layout and visibility adjustments for 4:3 handheld displays.
• Downloads list now shows the same tags as the library.
• Settings use a two-column grid in landscape; LB/RB jumps between columns (also in RomM).
• Improved gamepad-only navigation: initial focus in dialogs, B closes the current layer, and each screen has its own control legend.
• Content now stays clear of display cutouts.
• General UI and visibility refinements across the app.

Fixed

• Owned-games ✓ index is now correctly scoped by console folder.
• RomM screen: fixed LB/RB jumping to the header from console rows.
• Fixed the control legend disappearing when navigating between Settings and RomM.

Notes

• Package: com.cortinadev.dogmatix; it does not upgrade an existing Milou installation.
• Fresh installs start with no sources — add them manually or import a sources JSON.

Dogmatix 1.0.1

Maintenance release on top of 1.0. Updates over 1.0 in place (same signing key, data kept).

Fixes

• Owned-game mark is per console. The ✓ in the library was set for every console whose ROM shared a file name (e.g. downloading Asterix & Obelix for SNES also marked the GBC version). The on-disk index now remembers the folder each file lives in and only matches the folders that belong to the game's console (including its folder aliases and custom download directory). Deleting an owned game from the library is scoped the same way.
• Devices with a notch. The app draws edge to edge (shortEdges) and keeps the content clear of the display cutout in both orientations; previously, in immersive mode, content could end up under the notch or behind a black band.

Dogmatix 1.0

First release of Dogmatix, a fork of Milou rebuilt for Android handhelds — usable with a gamepad or with touch.

Highlights

• Gamepad-first UI: numbered tabs, fixed filter panel in landscape, visible focus ring, contextual button legend (ZL/ZR sections · LB/RB panels · X filters · Y search · B back one layer).
• Onboarding: first run explains the app, lets you pick the ROM root folder and import a sources JSON (all steps skippable).
• Sources: export to JSON via the share sheet and import from any JSON (full rescan); editable URLs; per-console short names and download-folder aliases; no default sources bundled.
• Library: lenient search, ✓ on games already on disk, favorite languages first, game details popup (RAWG / TheGamesDB) with the X button.
• Downloads persisted across restarts; per-console folders reuse existing frontend folders (ES-DE, RetroArch, Batocera…), with a merge tool for duplicates.
• Settings: light/dark theme, accent colour, steppers for concurrency and speed limit.

Install

Download dogmatix-1.0.apk (arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64; Android 10+). Package com.cortinadev.dogmatix — installs alongside Milou, does not update over it.

The APK is signed with the Dogmatix release key and includes the metadata API keys, so the game details popup works out of the box.

The scraping, indexing, download and extraction engine is Milou's work — credit to santiifm.
