Version 0.2-beta1
New release with a new feature and bug fixes.
- Improved the test runner so that the unit testing framework is now fully functional and usable in custom projects (solves issue #2).
- Fixed a bug in handling of “extglob” shopt, which caused the tests to fail.

Version 0.2-alpha1
Main changes/improvements in this release (still work in progress, though):
- “silent” mode. It is now possible to control the output from the script in a slightly more fine-grained way: while the pre-existing “non-interactive” mode suppresses any message sent to standard output, “silent” mode also suppresses messages sent to standard error;
- Improved “debug” mode: enabling it is now the same as
- enabling interactive mode (and disabling silent mode)
- enabling assertions
- enabling style
- setting log threshold to debug level, and printing log entries to stderr;
EXITpseudo-signal handling: this allows script to register one or more functions that should be executed before exiting, e.g. cleanup code that removes temporary files, locks, and so on;- created a simple API to manage messages about the execution of the script: now
bib.warn()andbib.error()are defined for printing state information about the script. They serve as the basis for more advanced features that I am working on, such as deprecation warnings and signal trapping.

Version 0.1.1
“array” library: added merge() function for concatenating two arrays.

Version 0.1
This is the first stable release. All the features implemented so far seem to work correctly.
Version 0.1-rc1
Small corrections of the code, which appears to be fairly stable.
Version 0.1-beta2
Version 0.1-beta1
After much work done, the code written so far appears to be reasonably robust and consistent to the extent that the API can be frozen and I’m on the way to issuing my first “stable” release of this framework.
No new features will be added for this version, just bugfixes and documentation improvements. Soon I will start a 0.2 development branch, for which I will be concentrating on improvement of some libraries (namely cfg and style) and of the unit testing script, which currently needs to be modified to run arbitrary tests.
Version 0.1-alpha6
Bumped release type number to alpha6.
