Testnet v1.2.0 – Helium Fork Release

This release updates the base version to v1.2.0 and introduces the new Helium fork, along with multiple enhancements to circuit performance and MPC developer tooling.

  • Helium Fork Enabled – Activates protocol updates required for improved MPC execution.

  • Circuit Optimizations – Multiplication and division circuits have been improved, with pricing adjusted accordingly.

  • Extended Bit-Width Support – Adds support for 128-bit and 256-bit operations.

  • Trace Debug for MPC – Enables optional trace debugging for MPC operations to assist development and troubleshooting.

Instructions for Node Operators

  1. Stop Existing Node: 
    cd ~/coti-full-node
./stop_coti-full-node.sh
  2. Update and Checkout: Ensure you pull the latest code and switch to the stable branch. 
    git pull
git checkout release/testnet
  3. Start New Containers: This command will automatically pull the new v1.2.0 Docker image. 
    ./start_coti-full-node.sh
