Reference wiki for eplan-rag-mcp — a collection of AI-assisted automation tools for EPLAN Electric P8 and EPLAN EEC Pro 2026, built around the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

The tools work. Every action here has been exercised live against a running EPLAN instance. What still needs care is context: this is 180 low-level tools, and an LLM handed all of them with no guidance will guess wrong action names or parameters. Point it at the Claude Code Skill and the docs RAGs before asking it to do anything non-trivial.

The local MCP server registers 180 tools: 8 connection/server tools, 168 EPLAN actions (eplan_*, every one executed silently inside a C# script under QuietMode — no EPLAN dialog can block an unattended run), and 4 Asset Administration Shell tools (aas_*).
