This beta tightens Beacon’s first-run experience and performance on Macs with existing agent history.

  • Older inactive sessions are set aside as quiet history on first launch. If you resume one later, it returns to Beacon automatically.
  • Setup stays in front, buttons respond on the first click, and the walkthrough visibly advances as soon as Beacon finds a real session.
  • Large Claude Desktop histories refresh with much less CPU work.

  • Beacon has a new graphite pilot-light design, with clearer idle, working, waiting, and ready-to-close states at every size.
  • Switching between Claude and Codex now keeps the focus ring on the session actually in front, and automatic handoffs no longer drift to another app.
  • Delegated agents stay grouped under their parent session, with a live count for background work and more detail on hover or in the session list.
  • Hidden or continued sessions return when real work restarts, and stopping a work timer now responds immediately while its report finishes loading.
