Updates to the codebase for 0.0.4 release include:

  • Better reporting of syntax (parsing) errors with location indicators.
  • Type and operator checks (for example disallowing ~ for floating-point numbers) before code generation attempted.
  • The "not equal" operator changed to "!=" causing it to be recognized.
  • Bad function definitions in Abaci code no longer cause repeated error messages on further input.
  • Memory leaks due to functions deemed impossible to instantiate closed.

It is recommended to use this release in preference to previous ones as there are numerous improvements and no known regressions. Uncompressed executable size is 25MB.
