The first flashable OpenCastor image for Raspberry Pi 5: flash, boot, scan the pairing QR, drive. No SSH, no terminal, no typed command.

Inside: OpenCastor runtime + packaged console (chat brains), robot-md-gateway, rc-car actuator, Ollama (CUDA-stripped) with qwen3.5:2b pre-pulled, first-boot provisioning that serves the pairing QR at http://.local. Build provenance stamped in /etc/opencastor-image.json (commit 6f63cf6, branch feat/pair-attest-pub).

Status: hardware verification in progress. This build is fresh off the bench; the ten-minute stopwatch run is being measured. You are welcome to be early — the deadman, signed-envelope, and stop rails are the same ones the bench robots run.

Download (two parts — GitHub's 2 GB file limit)

  1. Download both .part- files and the .sha256
  2. Reassemble: cat opencastor-pi.img.xz.part-* > opencastor-pi.img.xz
  3. Verify: sha256sum -c opencastor-pi.img.xz.sha256
  4. Flash opencastor-pi.img.xz with Raspberry Pi Imager (choose your own Wi-Fi + hostname in the Imager — the image leaves that machinery to it)
  5. Boot a Pi 5. It reboots once (the Imager's customization), then provisioning runs. Open http://<your-hostname>.local and scan the QR with the OpenCastor app: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/opencastor/id6791719005
