Short, worked examples of getting something done with XeFM: pairing it with another tool, a configuration snippet, a technique that is not obvious from the menus. Each recipe uses features XeFM already has, and links to the manual for the details.

• Search with Everything (Windows): run Everything's command-line search from XeFM and work on the results in a pane.

Suggesting a recipe

Post it in the Show and tell or Q&A discussion category: what you wanted to do, and the steps or config.py lines that did it. Recipes that work for others are collected here.
