Overview

First official release of KPaint - a Game Boy drawing application optimized for Kindle e-readers.

Features

• Clean interface with 18x15 pixel canvas
• Game Boy's 4-color palette optimized for Kindle display
• Static pen cursor design (no flickering)
• Support for up to 16 canvases
• Visual color selection indicators
• Simple menu system

Controls

• D-pad: Move the cursor
• A: Draw pixel
• B + D-pad: Switch colors
  • B + Up: Select Black (appears white on Kindle)
  • B + Right: Select Dark Gray
  • B + Down: Select White (appears black on Kindle)
  • B + Left: Select Light Gray
• Start: Open clear canvas menu

Files Included

• kpaint.gb - Game Boy ROM file ready for use with emulators or flash carts

Installation

1. Download the ROM file (kpaint.gb)
2. Load it in any Game Boy emulator - Gambatte-K2
3. For optimal experience on Kindle, follow the community guides for running Game Boy emulators on e-ink displays
