Welcome to the SoléBot wiki. As the project develops from my scratching about at my workbench to workable parts, these pages will evolve into something of an instruction manual for building and operating your own robotic drums, either by 3D printing the physical parts or making brackets from aluminium or wood. The electronics will be kept as simple as possible, to make this project as accessible to beginners as possible, focusing on using off-the-shelf microcontrollers and MOSFET power switching modules. If you can reliably repair musical instrument and audio cables, you will have all the technical skills needed to build the actual hardware. As for the firmware, I like short, concise code and will eventually have a "recipe" page for flashing the firmware to a microcontroller, so even that should be fairly straight forward.
