EdgeWatch 0.32.0 adds guided monitor setup and clear next actions from the first scan through baseline learning.

  • Create a monitor through Targets, Coverage, Schedule and alerts, and Review. See the validated scope, pinned scanner profile, exclusions, and estimated probe work before saving; switch to advanced creation without losing your draft.
  • Select an existing notification destination, create and test one as an administrator, or explicitly continue without alerts. Saved destinations remain independent of an unfinished monitor draft.
  • Create and start the first scan, or save for later. The job page explains remaining baseline samples, incomplete or stalled learning, resumable scans, and ready baselines with zero positive ports.
  • Use POST /api/v1/jobs/preview to validate a draft without scanning or saving it. Creation and execution revalidate current policy and available budget.
  • Build with Go 1.27.2 across native and container builds, including the current standard-library security fixes; update the pinned Go linter to v2.14.0.

No database migration or new runtime configuration is required. Existing saved-job editing, profile revisions, scanner restrictions, and baseline approval semantics are preserved.

Implementation: guided setup #1275, Go toolchain security fix #1265. Tracking: #1266–#1271 and #1273.
