v1.0.0
Nebius for Foundation Models v1.0.0 is the first public release, bringing Nebius Token Factory models to Apple’s FoundationModels framework through the familiar LanguageModelSession API.
- Native Foundation Models integration: use NebiusLanguageModel with standard sessions, streaming responses,
@Generablestructured output, and client-side tool calling. - Reasoning and vision: forward reasoning effort settings and image inputs to compatible models.
- Token usage tracking: access provider-reported usage, including cached and reasoning tokens when available, with an optional observer for individual requests and tool rounds.
- Built-in model catalog: a dated snapshot containing 25 models, including 24 generative models, with capability metadata and an explicit catalog update tool.
- Flexible connectivity: support for custom models, dedicated inference endpoints, configurable chat routes, and HTTPS relays.
- Optional Tavily integration: a standalone Swift client and five Foundation Models tools for search, extraction, mapping, crawling, and research, including research polling and SSE streaming. The tools also work with Apple’s on-device model.
- Examples and tests: runnable Nebius and Tavily examples, credential-free protocol tests, and streaming regression tests.
The Nebius adapter requires Xcode 27, Swift 6.4+, and iOS, macOS, visionOS, or watchOS 27+. Tavily’s Foundation Models tools support OS 26+, while the standalone TavilyAPI client supports the package’s lower deployment targets.
