Changes since 1.0.x:

  • Added example script example/controller.mjs to exercise the module on a desktop computer with a real dongle and motor controller
  • Added public Dongle.softwareRevision object that contains multiple representations of the dongle's software version, in addition to the object property returned by readDongleInfo(). See README for details.
  • Added "type": "module" to package.json
  • Imports now reference full filenames, including extensions, per ES6 requirements
  • Renamed clearSuperwatcher() to clearSuperWatcher() to be consistent with other code references to the super-watcher
  • Added check for non-null incoming data in characteristic notification listener (null data was causing crash in NodeJS / noble)
  • Add missing async keyword to writeObject
  • Remove call to nonexistent this.notifyListener.remove()
  • Removed platform check in DongleUUIDs - kept UUID strings with all-caps letters
