Nightly release 0.2.25, published to crates.io.

Highlights

  • ^:async can now be placed on the params vector of fn/defn (after the name), in addition to the previous placement — accepted by both the reader and compiler.
  • Added a process-wide memory governor (phases 0–1) that observes total process memory across GC heaps; it is observe-only in this release and does not yet enforce limits.
  • --gc-soft-limit-mb is no longer forwarded to the new process governor and continues to apply only to the per-heap GC soft limit.
  • Improved Clojure conformance: updated the bundled Clojure test suite and fixed a number of cljrs behavior mismatches, including lazy sequence semantics.
  • Expanded test coverage for the Rust-side derive/hierarchy machinery and special symbols.

Highlights are summarized by Claude from the commit log; the full list below is authoritative.
