ctx 2.2.1 is a compatibility bridge for older installations that cannot download the larger unified ctx binary.

  • Fix installer recovery after interrupted upgrades, including retries with a freshly downloaded Windows installer.
  • Keep stopped daemons and their original settings attached to the same upgrade attempt, so retries restart them correctly.
  • Retain the complete unified ctx feature set in a smaller build that old updaters can download.

This bridge uses compact parser and tokenizer storage. Parsing and the first Sift call can be slower than in the normal build. It is intended to get older installations onto the current update channel; the next update moves to ctx 2.2.2, which uses the normal-performance build.

New installs should use ctx 2.2.2.
