Streaming and lifecycle fixes
Stream Fetch request bodies across HTTP/1, HTTP/2, and HTTP/3, with
backpressure and a configurable maxBodyBytes limit (default: 16 MiB).
Oversized declared or consumed bodies receive HTTP 413 before response
headers are sent. Upload endpoints needing larger bodies should configure
a higher limit.
Bound unread HTTP/3 Fetch data to 1 MiB across the Node receive buffer and
pending-read queue; reset overflowing streams with ERR_HTTP3_RECEIVE_BUFFER_LIMIT.
Propagate disconnects to Request.signal and cancel response readers;
discard unconsumed upload tails after responses finish. Clean up SSE
drain waits and heartbeats on close or abort.
Observe errors thrown by detached-task error reporters, and safely cancel
WASM UDP startup when close races with socket setup.
WASM and flow-control fixes
Respect peer connection credit when tuning quiche send capacity, preventing FLOW_CONTROL_ERROR during uploads through small receive windows.
Report queued WASM writes as accepted, preventing duplicate bytes and FIN
retries across HTTP/3 and raw QUIC clients and servers.
Probe send capacity without repeatedly emitting DATA_BLOCKED notifications,
preventing an ACK feedback loop that could exhaust WASM memory.
Share WASM deadline and bounded-shutdown helpers, and remove handshake-order
assumptions from server-pair tests.
Maintenance and verification
Extract HTTP/3 and QUIC pending-write helpers and worker unit tests into
dedicated modules.
Consolidate native CI verification in verify.yml and report passed,
failed, and skipped verification stages accurately.
Add regressions for request-body limits, cancellation, delayed handshakes,
queued data and FIN, exact byte delivery, and packet amplification.
Validation
All 29 PR checks passed, including native, Rust, WASM, browser, interop, concurrency, and package-install checks.
Release dry run passed all three prebuild targets and all nine target/Node.js combinations.
Stable publication passed all build and package-validation jobs and published all four packages with provenance. Its final dist-tag check timed out during npm processing; subsequent uncached registry checks confirmed every package at 0.9.1 on latest.
A fresh npm installation passed all three post-release checks: package exports/artifacts, native HTTP/3 round trip, and WASM HTTP/3 round trip.
The Intel macOS Node.js 24 concurrency check encountered one session-creation timeout; its unchanged rerun passed, as did ten consecutive local concurrency runs.
