Features

  • messagingpush: support Firebase Installation IDs (#934) (d1574e1)
Apps can now register Firebase Installation IDs instead of FCM tokens. It's opt-in, and apps that don't opt in keep using FCM tokens. See our docs for migration guide.

Notes

  • On launch, if the device token changed, SDK now removes the old device before registering new one. This applies to all apps.
  • DeviceTokenProvider is no longer public.
